Win Daily Painting - Day Ten - Apples four ways

Yay!! This is the fun final painting. SO I did 10 paintings, maybe not 14 but that is 2 work weeks of painting right ;)  This one I just went a little more zany and had a bit of fun. This is a little bit bigger of a canvas, 14 x14 I believe. Well, well, I believe we are going to announce the winner of the facebook blogger competition to see who will win a FREE painting! Here is a pepper and lime still life. This one I was a little frustrated with. I may have used a bit too  much filler when painting but my favorite part is the lime on the dish at the bottom of the painting :) We can all have our favorite pieces of our work right?  Here it is.  Let me know what you think :)

Win Daily Painting - Day Eight - Pedley Lane Cottage

So this is DAY SEVEN. I didn't like this one as much as the other cottage but this is a cottage that we live around the corner from on Pedley lane. Its such an adorable quaint cottage. It wasn't till I left England that I realized how lucky I was to have such a rich history, and why immigrants to the USA treasure their traditions and family ties so much. To all you transplants and everyone else a toast to our roots!!
